After a long day of walking through Spanish Harlem and the Eastside I wanted more.......We took the 7 train to Long Island City where we went to see 5 Pointz the world's premier "graffiti mecca".....it is an Aerosol Art Center where artist from around the globe paint colorful pieces on the wall of a 200,000 sq. ft. factory building.
Then a walk down to Gantry Plaza State Park a 12 acre riverside oasis that boasts spectacular views of midtown.
